Walking the Course is the perfect way to see the world famous fences prior to racing during the Randox Grand National, and this year customers can walk the course on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
The start point for the course walk is in the centre of the course. If accessing from the Grandstand side, you will see the archway located near the Princess Royal stand.

Please make your way to the centre of the Course, as directed by the signs. The course walk will take approximately one hour to complete.
Please note that this is not a guided tour but a walk and opportunity to see the fences prior to racing.

The non-grandstand side of the Course will close 15 minutes prior to racing, and you will not be able to cross the Course.
Yes, it’s still possible to walk the Course, free of charge, there will be signs which will have information about the fences you will see on your tour.
In the event of severe wind and rain, you may not be permitted to access the centre of the Course and therefore, walking will not be available.
Please be aware that this is entirely outdoors, therefore it is advisable to bring a coat or jacket with you.
