Shetland Pony Flat Race and Meet & Greet

Racing kicks off at 12:40 with the Shetland Pony Flat Race, where young jockeys and their ponies take to the track in a fast paced race that’s always a crowd pleaser!

After the race, head over for a quick hello with some of the ponies and their talented riders. They won’t be out for long, so catch them before they trot off!

Make your raceday travel simple with our dedicated shuttle service, operated by Warrington’s Own Buses.

Running between Newton-le-Willows railway station and Haydock Park Racecourse, the shuttle operates on all Haydock Park fixtures (excluding music nights), providing a convenient and affordable way to get to and from the racecourse.
