PRECAUTIONARY INSPECTION FOR SKY BET PETER MARSH CHASE DAY

SATURDAY 18 JANUARY 2025

Following an overnight frost Thursday into Friday the track is currently raceable, however with temperatures forecast to drop below freezing once again this evening (-1), a precautionary inspection will take place tomorrow ahead of racing at 8.30am.

Frost covers are being deployed onto vulnerable areas of the track in a bid to give the fixture every chance of going ahead.

We will update you all as soon as possible.

The 2024/25 season of the Unibet Middle Distance Veterans’ Chase series sees 8 qualifiers, leading towards the £100,000 final at Haydock Park on April 19th which will be broadcast live on ITV.
