The Racecourse will be particularly busy during the Festival week so we advise allowing plenty of time to complete your journey and sufficient time to enter the venue. Cheltenham Festival will be a safe and secure event and so, as with other major events, security checks will be carried out before you enter the racecourse. As well as showing all the action in the parade ring and on the track, there will be interviews, behind-the-scenes exclusives and a close-up of all the entertainment at The Festival - so keep an eye on the screens to stay up to date with all The Festival happenings.
Did you know that most of the bars at Cheltenham Racecourse are names after famous racehorses? With the vast range of bars at the racecourse, from the buzz of the course-side Arkle bar or the glamour of the Moët and Chandon Village Champagne Bar.
Don't rush of after racing! Join us in any of our six post-racing music destinations for 75 minutes of music, the perfect way to draw the day to a close. Performances in the Centaur will be of a reduced energy and tempo than previous Festival performances, offering a more relaxed atmosphere.
Our car parks will be extremely busy and customers should be prepared that it will take time to leave them, racegoers should be aware of the planned road closures to plan your journey home.
